FINANCIAL HELP

Thank you to those of you who support us and our work in Peru through financial giving. We rely on your support and the support of others to be able to do what we do and your commitment not only makes a big difference to us, but also to those we’re working with.

We’re working as volunteers with Peru Children’s Trust for a minimum of 2 years, so would be very keen to hear from anyone who would consider contributing financially to supporting us in our work..

If you would like to support us financially we’d prefer that you do so through an account we have set up with the very nice people at Stewardship, a financial organisation which operates a Gift Aid scheme for Christian volunteer workers. By setting up an account with them, it allows us to receive tax back on top of any money that you want to give. To do this, you need to download this form, print it off, complete it and then send it with either a one-off gift or a direct debit instruction to Stewardship who will then pay the money into our account, claiming the tax back as they do so.

However, due to the nature of the scheme, there are some reasons why you might be unable to use this facility or chose not to. These are any of the following:

1) You are not a UK tax-payer

2) You would, for whatever reason, prefer not to ‘gift aid’ your support to us

3) You intend to give us a one-off gift of less than £30

4) You intend to give us a regular amount that is either less than £10 per month or less than £25 per quarter

If you fall into any of these categories and would still like to support us financially, then we’d be happy to receive cheques or to give you our bank account details. If this is something you’d like to do, please e-mail Paul for details of how to do it.
